WHY NORTH KOREA IS HARDENING ITS NUCLEAR STANCE
The US State Department reaffirmed on August 26 its longstanding commitment to North Korea's complete denuclearization, according to Yonhap News Agency. North Korea's foreign ministry responded on August 31 that this position would not weaken its status as a nuclear-weapon state.
